Imperfectly Perfect
Ever wonder why life is so unfair and imperfect. Well, why can't I be perfect, it must at least be possible right. The action and reaction of the thought is replaced by reality before rendering any chance of realization. You secretly blame yourself, then others, the world, the black cat, even a damn sneeze from a poor fella beside you. An endless list of complaints. When you are an Indian you cannot avoid dogma. Yes, it is true that our generation comes up with a much clever list of complaints of chaos around us. Still, the situation is same. Congratulations, for complicating my life Karma. The word perfect should never exist alone.
Why me? Failure is fine for once but not again and again. It's NO FUN! Bad luck can cheat on you one day but, it figures you are it's best friend. Sometimes, you question everything. Is it necessary to worry at all? Making a living is not a problem. Despite the fact that your dreams are shattered and you can never glue all the broken pieces of it together. And no, the super glue gun is not useful now. There are no quick fixes to things that slipped off or out of your control. LET IT GO.
In the retrospect, it's funny and amazing how things can go wrong repeatedly. The person who you are now is a result of all the beautiful moments and cruel mishaps of your past. Who cares about a few failures, when life is such a big adventure. The struggles you faced may or may not be good stories for the next generation. Nonetheless, the wisdom you gained slowly will make you a winner in your life. You are your own teacher and student. No one knows you better than yourself. The endless experiments and dire consequences you happen to face is a way of life unveiling itself. Bliss beats all the countless confusion. See a spark in everything. Let your eyes twinkle just for the mere fact that you are ALIVE. Eventually, you will encounter epiphany.
Just calculate it. Add all your glories, subtract the sadness, multiply the delight and divide the despair. Done! Silly math for a simple life folks. Serenity prayer soothes you too.
Now go out there! No more holding onto hope. It's your time to shine. Clench your fists, grit your teeth, puff up your chest, raise from the ashes and shout out to yourself....I'm Perfectly Perfect.
You expressed everything that my heart thinks each day!
ReplyDeleteThat was very insightful. Embrace the spirit. Peace.
ReplyDeleteIt touch my soul ,incredibly perfect!!
ReplyDeleteThere is so much pressure from parents, guardians, friends to fit in, to make them happy, and somehow find happiness from that way of living. But happiness comes from doing things that bring you joy, little to no stress, and serenity. Often times this does not match the values of your parents, guardians, and friends. I find the most I have failed in my life was from living my life for someone else. I believe there is no such thing as perfection. But the closest thing we can get to perfection is living our lives for ourselves in ways that truly make us happy.
